PREP Realty is a dedicated team of Real Estate Brokers and Property Managers based in Calgary, Alberta.

When designing the logo—an umbrella for a range of realty departments and listings categories—we gave it a more personal touch. We created something meaningful for the President of the company, who happens to have a Master of Science in Geology.

His love for geology and real estate is an interesting combination that was just begging for a unique logo! To merge the concepts, we developed a house icon, and then integrated a gem shape and flat facets.

Since the company handles many luxury listings, the gem aspect was a great choice on multiple levels, and the gold texture doesn’t hurt!

As a designer, I love getting opportunities like this, where two complementary ideas come together and the logo almost designs itself.
